Little Splattie passed over the
Rainbow Bridge on Wednesday 5th April 2006. Regular visitors may have
read that she had a tumour which we had known about since late last
year. Well, I'm afraid to say it finally got the better of her and she
gently slipped away at home to join Billy and the other Wheekies in
the land of grass and sunshine. Sleep well Splattie, you know we love
you. xxxxxx * There are 15 new pics below - all taken
within her last month - which I've just added: 06/04/06 * - and Thankyou
Jackie and Lynn for these 2 lovely pics of Splattie xxx

Splat, Split-Splat,
Splattie, Splatawobbles was a very pretty and dainty 'crested' [but not very
strongly] piggy ! She came to live with me on Sunday 25th February 2001. She
was a really teeny-tiny piggy, very vulnerable and cute ! For some reason I
always think of her as a boy, I don't know why aww she's a little Tom-Pig !
She was a grand licker and stretchy-outy at lap time pigger !
Splat's
favourite hobby was dunking newspaper into her water bowl then eating it, she
also HAS to have an old cardboard loo-roll tube right underneath the nozzle
of the water bottle so she can get that wet when she has a drink from the bottle
and chew it, ah the joys of piggies who know their own mind ! Woe betides the
newspaper underneath the water bottle if I forget to put a loo-roll tube under
it for her ! She's so dark and shiny and has the softest fur....
Splattie charged around the
room at floor-time, time, amazingly fast ! Like a little dark cannon ball - round
and round, popcorning, whizzing under the settee, under the coffee table, poking
her little nose out from where-ever she was at the slightest rustle, she was a
cheeky little monkey and very cute. Her favourite trick was to run through the
'tunnel' behind two of my lounge cupboards and pop out the other side, it's a
small space and Billy once tried to follow her - though being the portly porker
he was he got stuck with his big round belly and two back legs sticking out -
very funny it was too, I ran for my camera but by the time I came back in the
room he had wormed his way free. Splat meanwhile, chortled from afar... you don't
think she lured him there on purpose do you ... ?
