I discovered him when I was Christmas shopping for fairy lights at a local garden centre.

I wandered over to the animal section. I saw him in with a younger pig and he was lying on his side and panting and looking extremely ill. I spoke to the staff there who said it was a mother and baby, hmmm, anyway, I asked to look at 'her' please and lo and behold 'she' was a 'he' and he was obviously very ill. I came to an arrangement with the member of staff I spoke to and took him home with me. He seemed a cute little chap and what with it being nearly Christmas and him being all white, we named him Snowballs. He had a little crest and such cute little pink ears.

He received some veterinary care, a warm and comfy bed and began receiving some Critical Care via syringe but it soon became clear it was too late for the little fellow. We hope we gave him a warm, dignified and peaceful end - where he knew we were trying to care for and help him.
