Piggies In The Sky

Please take a moment to meet my much loved piggies who have since passed over to the Rainbow Bridge, frolicking happily together in the land of plenty [of grass that is !].... aww sleep well little piggies.xxxxxx

You may click on each piggy's name or photo to go to their individual pages for lots of lovely photos of them !

Beautiful Trixie passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday 15th November 2005. Trixie joined my piggy family on 24th September 2000 aged 3 months. She was a headstrong, very gentle and opinionated pig. She was one of Paddington's daughters [of PG's GP's fame]. Sleep tight my little Trixie-Belle, you were loved by so many, but by no-one more than me.

Poppy passed away very suddenly on Tuesday 6th September 2005 aged 5 and a half years old. She had seemed 100% fine and as lively and playful as always. She came to live with us on Sunday 9th January 2005 and settled in so well with the rest of The Wheekies. She was such a cheeky, lively and playful little girl and is very much missed by us all.

Allyson joined her sister Felicity at the Rainbow Bridge on Wednesday 13th October 2004 aged nearly 7. She had been poorly for a little while and we had to help her on her way at the end, though it was very peaceful. Allyson was a gentle, affectionate piggy who I would have trusted with the world.

Felicity passed over the Rainbow Bridge on Wednesday 19th March 2003 aged 5 and a quarter. As you can see she was a beautiful chocolate piggie who came to live with me along with her sister Allyson on Thursday 30th May 2002 aged approx 4 and a half years old. Flicky was well known for her fabulous floppy ears.

Mop passed away in her sleep. I found her on the morning of Thursday 23rd January 2003. She was aged nearly 6 and a half. She came to live with me in the Autumn of 1996 along with her sister Tiger [see below]. They were beautiful sheltie guinea pigs. Mop enjoyed regular haircuts to keep her looking just how she liked.
Snowballs who we were honoured to love and care for, for just 5 hours, passed away on the 14th December 2002. I found him when I was Christmas shopping for fairy lights at a local garden centre and he was obviously very ill so of course he came home with me for some veterinary care and a dignified and peaceful end.
Mouse left us on Saturday 19th October 2002 aged six 'and a bit', you will never be forgotten my little 'fats'. She was the first of the Wheekies and came to brighten our lives in May 1996. I am not ashamed to say she was my favourite pig ever, friendly, fearless, loving and perfect in every possible way.
Tiger went up to the sky on Tuesday
10th October 2000, aged 4 after a very sudden illness.
She came to live with me in the Autumn of 1996 along with her sister Mop [see above]. She was an extremely pretty and feminine pig, shy and gentle with a fondness for celery. Didn't like her 'botty trims' though [and who can blame her ?] !
Squirt went to the Bridge in December 1999. She was the second Wheekie to grace our home. I bought her in the late summer of 1996 primarily to keep my beloved Mouse company. They got along extrememly well and Squirt developed into a little cracker with a loving and licky nature. A lovely pig and very much missed.

Thankyou so much aL for these smashing pics of my dearly missed piggies. Look how happy they are !
