This is the original page of Scritchit's pictures and news !!!..... On the 1st May 2007 a new little hamster walked into our lives !

We are calling her 'Little Scritchit' [or Princess Scritchit as she is otherwise known !] for now as Scritchit was one of Human Hands's nicknames !] she's gorgeous - she loves her wheel/s and her loo/kitchen roll tube extravaganzas ! She is very intelligent and quick to catch on - and very demanding of our attention [she also has a 'virtual' hamster boyfriend... Hammy ! ]!

Awww here's little Miss Scritchit and her 'boyfriend' Hammy lol - what a wonderful locket Hammy made for her with the help of his 'granny' Jackie from Jackie's Guinea Piggies !

- A few new pics of little Scritchit - aww look at her cheek pouches full
of food !!! .......We have picked up a few assorted items at car-boot
sales to make Scritchit a fun play area for when she is outside of her
cage [and not on us or in her ball !] - this is Scritchit having fun in
her Gyroball.... She got her 2nd piece of mail 12/06 - another present
from the Butler Princesses [see March
2007 Diary !] A book called 'Princess Bear' - all about how to be
a Princess!!! - Thanks again girls !

Scritchit and her
Pink Palace.... [this is not where she lives, she has a big traditional
cage - this is just for play] and Scritchit enjoys playing in it - can
you see her ?! She got her first piece of mail 30/05/07 - a present from
the Butler Princesses [see March
2007 Diary !] 'The Hamster Times' !!! - Thanks girls !

She loves nothing
more than to sit and chew strips of cardboard to smithereens all evening
[in between outings in her bally !] She's also learnt to climb out of
the top of her cage - who's a clever Scritchit ! She got a hamster ball
on Sunday 20th May 2007 [phew, a bit of peace] ! She adores dangling upside
down from the roof of her cage - legs a-flailing so we have to go and
rescue her by letting her plop down into our hands !

She's far calmer
and really explores us, is pretty easy to pick up when out and is an absolute
joy [though exhausting us lol] ! Little extra treats she's had so far
are a tiny bit of cucumber, carrot, cheese and wholemeal toast, plus she
loves to proudly carry around a 'hamster raviolo' & chew cardboard
- endlessly !

She's been out and
about a lot now - from being 'as slippery as a bar of soap' she's much
more handleable now and is happy to be picked up ! She quickly caught
on that when we opened the front cage door - if she walks out onto it
- we can stroke her & pick her up and she can come out - so she's
straight there now !

She's happily taking
treats out of our hands and becoming very settled in. We don't know how
old she is but she looks quite young - she looks like she has the makings
of a cheeky and happy little hamster ! She's found her way round her cage
and organised her food stash & cardboard tunnels just how she likes
them !
