April 2001

So, it's April - the month of Fools & Showers ! There's lot of daffodils around and it's becoming very springlike !

So far this month: Whee have -

• I am starting the CCT (Cambridge Cavy Trust) / BAR (British Association of Rodentology) course (Part 1) this month !
• Whee have had some new suggestions for cavy names sent to us from Monica - great names - thanks ! Don't forget to email us if you want your names added !
• Whee have 2 more photos of our Guest Piggie - Piggie Smalls - in full Easter & Passover regalia, looking as ravishing as ever Piggie !
• Whee welcome Sausage-Pig, the Papier Mache Guinea Pig (I know he looks more like a sausage dog but never mind....)
• Whee have made some minor updates to content and added lots of new photo's to some pages, check out feeding, my housing, books, entertaining, Splat's page, Group pics, Mop's page and Trixie's page - new pics marked: *New
• Trixie has joined the ACME / Petsmart photo quilt - go here to see her :o) oh she gets around that one !!
• Here is the last pic of Mop's hair growing experiment before we gleefully cut it all off again, much to both our relief (she's looking a bit moody here !!) - Next month I'll put all the pics on one page !

• Visit our new Guest Piggies: Marvel & Fluffy from Kathryn and Coconut from Billy !
• Visitor Count on 28th April was 2210 !

Still to do:

• Add section on Guinea Pig Behaviour - what all their little actions & noises mean, well the one's I understand anyway !
• How to have a go at litter training your pig.
• Provide a 'potted' summary of the Guinea Pig, maybe a bit of history, basic facts & figures - I know I ramble on once I get going so I'll do a 'one-page special' of the main things a GP owner needs to know !
• Make a list of useful items to own in your piggy first aid kit (well, what I've got in mine plus a few more tips !)
• I still havn't got around to drawing a logo - unless anyone fancies designing me one and emailing it to me ? I should be so lucky !
• I want to find out how to change the links so that they open in a new browser window too.

• A very big welcome to our new Guest Piggie - the very handsome Dougal - he sure is a saucy one..... ! I think he's giving that little cheeky Trixie ideas....
• Updated the Breeding & Links Pages.
• We have 2, yes 2 !! new Guest Piggies - Piggie Smalls looking very striking in festive and romantic surroundings, waiting to sweep some lucky piggie of her feet ! and the very photogenic Zoom modelling a jar beautifully.... you have to take a peek at these two cuties !
• Visitor count as @ 28th March - 1780 !
