Mouse is not amused with her sample of Carefresh !

So far this month whee have...

• A very warm & Wheekie welcome to our newest Guest Piggie - Buniek !
• Whee have some new photos of the Wheekies- they are baby pics of Mouse - Mop [and the 'late' Tiger] & the 'late' Squirt - aw it is amazing how little and young they looked !
• We would like to introduce you to Benny - this handsome little chap has recently gone to live with Janet & GP !

• Please welcome GP the piggy who has joined his piggy friend Benny - aw, he was a bit camera shy which is why I have only just had his pic sent in by Janet !
• Janet has a new piggie GPjr - who has joined Benny & GP - whee have added his pic to their page !
• Whee have 2 new Guest Piggies... please welcome Pooh & Piglet !
• A very Happy 5th Birthday to Sweety - one of our most prolific Guest Piggies !
• We tried Carefresh bedding for the first time last week - it is not readily available over here in the UK and a friend very kindly sent me some - well I have to say I didn't like it at all, nor did Mouse [see above !] it had a very strange smell, seemed very dusty and gritty with lots of straggly fibrey bits, it didn't look particularly attractive either - we will be sticking with our Dengie Medibed !! I'm so pleased I got the chance to sample it though, having heard so much about it !
• News on our new outside exercise run: All 4 panels have been constructed, they just need to be joined together, hopefully next month I can post some pics of some happy piggies scampering around in the fresh air in it !

So far this month whee have...

• A beautiful new Guest Piggie ! Please all welcome Janets piggie Hannah to our Guest Piggie section !
• Please also welcome some more Guest Piggies.. Dawnda's lovely piggies have come to visit us too, thanks Dawnda !
• Updated the Cavy Gifts links section to include a link to 'The Piggillett Cavy Store' make sure you visit to see their beautiful sterling silver cavy jewellery !
• Updated the Cavy Rescue Links page and also the Other Piggy Sites Links page !
• We have an updated photo of Colin the pig - go see the handsome boy on his Guest Piggie Page !
• We have a 'recipe' to make a Stocking Pig sent in by Alex - check out the Crafty Pig section - don't forget to send me photos of any you make for me to post up on the site !
• We also have some more Cavy Names sent in by Alex - thanks again !
• My little Splattie developed an URI and had a lot of fluid in her lungs. I am delighted to say she has fully recovered after a 5 day course of Baytril [broad spectrum antibiotic] injections followed up with lots of tender loving care !
• After Splattie's little illness it set me thinking ! If you want to check out my ramblings read - Prevention is Better than Cure - How to have a Happy Healthy Guinea Pig - but I warn you, you might get attached to Percy :o))) [this is the first draft so I may change it at some stage if I think of something else!]
• We have updated Colin the Pigs page with his newest girlfriend !
• Make sure you visit our old friend Piggie Smalls - Celebrating St.Piggies Day !
• We have some new photos of the Wheekies dotted about the site, have a scroll through and see if you can see which ones ! They are on these pages...... • We are delighted to be able to share REM, Lucifer and their newborn pups - born 23/03/02 ! What little sweeties :o)
